Graduated from De Kalb High School in De Kalb, TX in 2012.

Graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Music, May 2016.

This will be my fourth year at Cushing ISD.

I grew up in the small town of De Kalb, TX, where my grandfather was Band Director for 27 years, earning awards and honors consecutively. Elementary and Middle School were spent at Hubbard ISD, which is a small district right outside of DISD. My gradtuating 8th Grade class had 7 students. We were not fortunate enough to have a music program at this school. High school was spent at De Kalb High School, where I joined the high school band. After High school, I studied music at SFA, where I joined The Lumberjack Marching Band, earning the "Go Jacks" Award for outstanding service and dedication to the program.
